A partial denture is designed to replace several missing teeth. Partial dentures are removable and rely on adjacent teeth to support them by utilizing precision attachments or metal clasps. These clasps anchor the partial denture to natural teeth to keep the partial denture securely in place while still allowing the patient to remove it for proper cleaning and maintenance. A partial denture maintains tooth alignment by preventing the remaining teeth from shifting. Well made partial dentures are esthetically pleasing and allow patients to eat and speak normally.
